The 2711C-K3M is the AB PanelView Component C300 Terminal that provides variable controls and visualization solutions for low-end applications that use Ethernet or serial communications. This device is a monochrome transflective FSTN passive matrix that can interface with PowerFlex 4 drives and the preferred controllers include AB’s Micro800™ MicroLogix™ families. The 2711C-K3M operator interface comes with a 3-inch display which is a touchscreen that is accessible from a web browser with an Ethernet connection using an emulator address. Mounting and quick-lever clamps make the maintenance and installation processes easy. The 2711C-K3M's interface lets the users design their own applications and set the indicators for process identification. With a battery backup available for at least 5 years and no real-time clock, the terminal is valuable when viewing the results on the terminal during large applications. The users do not have to install the software on the computer, and this saves service time. Note that the browser and the emulator must be on the same computer.

The 2711C-K3M uses 24 Volts DC input voltage. For device safety, give the terminal connections regular maintenance. Version 2.0 of the DesignStation software and the Web-enabled software reside in the terminal, which is accessed through a web browser to run applications on the C300 interface panel. The operator input has 10 functional keys which are keys F1 to F10, a numeric keypad with keys from 0 to 9, and up, down, left, right, decimal, +/-, and Enter keys with a USB port as a programming port. The users can view the system information and apply login passwords for secure operations. With a screen resolution of 128 by 64 pixels, it comes with a built-in analog touchscreen. Weighing less than 0.43 pounds with a display size of 67 by 33 millimeters (2.64 by 1.30 inches), the PanelView Component C300 Terminal has a backlight life of more than 50,000 hours. The files can be transferred through the PanelView Component terminal storage and a USB flash drive or a computer.
